Visit Slane
Situated just 10 minutes west of Slane village, the Donaghmore Round Tower is a well preserved 10th century site.
The tower is found on the site of a religious settlement thought to have been established in the 5th century by St Patrick and left under the direction of his disciple, Cassan (Cassanus).
